Gray Line Cancun is approximately 50% dynamically-generated, allowing the site owner to make frequent changes and updates. The site links to Gray Line World Wide for booking and reservations. The website has a unique CSS and PHP structure that allows pages to display with different color layouts.

Rolling Sharpening Stone is approximately 75% dynamically-generated, allowing the site owner to make frequent changes and updates. As new franchise-owners join, their territories and contact information are added and show up automatically. A randomized sequence of photos gives the website more visual interest and illustrates the company’s activities.

Kitchen Table Cooking School, Greenwood Village, Denver
Completely hand-crafted website developed to allow immediate listing of new classes, plus allowing visitors to register online for cooking classes. Website allows administrator-level updating and reporting. The organization can upload time-sensitive information in a content management-like environment, developed entirely for the client’s needs.

Mayaland Resort Hotels, Chichen Itza and Uxmal, Mexico
Mayaland.com required reformatting of a Flash structure to a search-engine friendly website using HTML, CSS, PHP and small Flash modules. Previously the site was not even showing up in searches; now it maintains consistently high search engine ratings.
The new database-driven website allows the site owner to quickly update specials and offers. Mayaland consists of four complete versions of the website: English, Spanish, French and Italian.

Award-winning website for an executive coach in Denver Colorado. All the ideas expressed on the website are those of Brian Gast. For this complete website redesign, I interviewed Brian, organized his concepts, wrote and edited the copy, adding photos to illustrate ideas.

Starsys
Starsys was developed as part of a team including Peggy Morris (Morris Marketing Arts/Denver), Jeff Schroeder (ZingStudios/Longmont) and Amanda Taylor (Amanda Taylor Design/Denver). Peggy was production supervisor, Jeff handled back-end database functionality and Amanda designed the look and feel of the site. Shere Chamness handled the architecture, styling and website development.
Kentucky Virtual Library
Kentucky Virtual Library Kids’ Portal was created in 2003 through the joint efforts of the Kentucky Virtual Library Kids & Teachers Workgroup, with website concept, story, design and animation by Shere Chamness.
Website includes Flash content, a secondary non-Flash version employing animated GIFs for games, and a text-based version for visually impaired users and printer-friendly pages. This section of the Kentucky Virtual Library is still one of the most accessed portions of the entire website, used by kids of all ages.
