  • TheWiddahood.com: A free social support network dedicated to anyone who has suffered the loss of a significant other.

    The Widdahood

Catherine Tidd contacted me with her brilliant vision of a free social support network for widows, one that would be a comfort as well as valuable resource for anyone who has suffered the loss of a significant other.

I worked with Catherine to convert her design into CSS specifications, customizing the Easel Theme, creating template pages in WordPress and integrating the website's development with the newly created Mingle plugin for social networking.

Michael McCullough coordinated theme and plugins and worked with other contractors who tweaked the search process and overall functionality. Together, our team created the website which launched in December 2010 and is becoming a huge success in the eyes of widows, both male and female, from all over the globe.
